Hi, I’m Shawna, a portrait, family and event photographer originally from Oregon, now living in Berkeley, California.

I studied photography at Portland State University and have been taking photos for as long as I can remember. With ten years of experience as the director of a Montessori school in Berkeley, I’m especially comfortable working with families and children. I know how to create a relaxed, joyful environment where people feel at ease so we can capture genuine, timeless images that truly feel like you.

Beyond photography, I love laughing, connecting with people, costumes, music, plants, and all things vintage.
